Mr. Dufrene joined Axis in August of 2022 after a 36 year career in the environmental services industry with 31 of those years in a managerial capacity. He graduated from South Lafourche High School in 1984 and then attended Nicholls State University. Andy’s work ethic and determination saw him quickly climb the corporate ladder. His management career began to ascend after he was appointed as the Location Manager for All Waste. He was quickly recruited by a new start-up endeavor named PMI and served as the company’s Vice President of Environmental Operations for the following ten years. Again, due to Andy’s leadership and the success of PMI, Andy had established himself as a management fixture throughout the environmental services industry. In 2004, Andy was recruited and began a new chapter in his career serving as the General Manager of Environmental Operations for TRUSSCO. After quickly posting record revenue and profits, TRUSSCO was acquired by OMNI Energy Services in 2008. With OMNI, Andy served as the company’s Vice President of Operations and oversaw 28 locations and 875 employees. During his tenure with OMNI, Andy was appointed as the member of the Mergers and Acquisitions team and spearheaded seven acquisitions. The company continued to post record profits under Andy’s guidance. OMNI was acquired by Well Springs Capital and once more by Gibson Energy Services in 2012. In returned home to become the Chief Operating Officer of Louisiana Tanks Specialties and served in that capacity for 4 years. At Louisiana Tank Specialties, Andy was responsible for overseeing multiple locations and approximately 60 employees. While at work, Andy is often described by his coworkers as a disciple of the “school of profit and loss analysis” and has posted the results to solidify this claim. In his time away from Axis, Andy is an active member of the Knights of Columbus. Atop his many interests, Andy is an avid boater and cherishes his time aboard his boat with family and friends.
Mr. Lyons was the original founder of Axis Rental Solutions in 2014 and served as the company’s President until a majority of the company was acquired in November 2018. Eddie has remained with the company and brings a wealth of knowledge in all facets of the company’s operations.
Eddie began his professional career in 1987 in the automotive industry. Within his first year, Eddie began rising through the ranks and served as the General Manager of what was Brown Ford, Inc. in Thibodaux, Louisiana. Upon the dealership being sold, Eddie then began the next step of his business career with the acquisition of Lafourche Ford in Lockport where he was a shareholder and appointed the Dealer Principal by Ford Motor Company. Eddie held this role until 2010 when the company was acquired by private investors.
Shortly thereafter, Eddie began utilizing his vast client base to begin his career in the rental equipment industry. After a brief stint in sales from 2010 through 2014, Eddie founded Axis Rental Solutions in Broussard, Louisiana. Utilizing Eddie’s business acumen and marketing experience, Axis began its transformation from an offshore rental company with about 2 million dollars of assets to where it stands today serving both land based and offshore applications.
Mr. Lyons resides in Thibodaux, Louisiana and is a 1983 graduate of South Terrebonne High School. Upon graduation, Eddie obtained his Bachelor of Science degree from Nicholls State University in Marketing and was a member of the University’s baseball team. He continues to support his alma mater as well as other charitable organizations on both a local and national level. In his free time away from Axis, Eddie enjoys many outdoor activities but can usually be found spending time with his family and two granddaughters.
Lauren Harrell is Vice President of Finance at Axis Rental Solutions, LLC. She partners across the business to guide financial strategy, planning, and performance. A CPA with more than a decade of experience, Lauren began her career at EY, building a strong foundation in audit, controls, and financial reporting before moving into leadership roles in the oil and gas and marine sectors. She is a proud Tulane graduate and is passionate about fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
Mr. Chasson brings more than 25 years of rental equipment experience to Axis Rental Solutions. Greg began his career as a wash rack employee and has steadily climbed the corporate ladder after being promoted to inside sales, assistant manager and eventually obtaining his current vital role with Axis. Greg’s immense knowledge of the equipment we provide, in addition to his ability to assist in project management, make him a valuable asset to Axis as well as our diversified client base. Greg is a 1996 graduate of Central Catholic High School and attended Nicholls State University. In his spare time, Greg enjoys the outdoors whether it be hunting or fishing.
Mr. Engro brings over 10 years of equipment rental experience to Axis during which time he gained experience in the Construction, Industrial and Oilfield industries. Sam is a 2010 graduate of Brother Martin High School where he is an active member of the school’s alumni association and then attended Delgado Community College where he earned his degree in Business Management.
Sam initiated his rental industry journey by serving as an outside sales professional. Sam’s organizational skills and acumen for recognizing and analyzing industry trends made him a prime candidate for management. In a short period of time, Axis returned to its roots and opened a location in Broussard, Louisiana and Sam was the prime candidate to lead the company in the Acadiana region. Since his appointment as General Manager, his location has experienced steady growth and exemplary service results.
Amongst Sam’s interests and passions are golf, LSU and Saints football. Sam and his wife Megan reside in Lafayette, Louisiana along with their son.
Rodney bring a wealth of experience to Axis having been in the equipment rental business for 36 years. He began his career in 1989 working for Buckner Rental Services washing equipment and also serving as a delivery driver. Rodney’s mechanical aptitude quickly lead to him being moved to the role of technician very quickly. Rodney’s nechanical knowledge along with his commitment to customer service soon lead him into the role of an inside salesperson, assistant manager and then eventually General Manager of Redfish Rentals’ Fourchon, La. Location in 1999 and maintained that role until May of 2025.
Mr. McCue brings customer satisfaction to an elite level with his willingness to accommodate customer requests both in sales and service. This is displayed from his willingness to diagnose and perform repairs to making deliveries personally.
Away from Axis, Rodney has many hobbies which include restoring antique vehicles, riding motorcycles, family gatherings as well as hunting.
Mr. Vidos brings 23 years of equipment rental experience to Axis, which has paid dividends for both Axis and his expansive clientele. Grayson was present since the inception of Axis Rental Solutions in 2014 and has been integral in the company’s growth and success. Mr. Vidos can best be described as an advocate for his clients by going above and beyond his job responsibilities to ensure all his clients experience seamless transactions and quality equipment. Grayson’s experience and knowledge are not limited to land-based equipment as he has built his equipment rental expertise catering to offshore diving, facility maintenance and repairs as well as platform decommissioning. Due to his experience and willingness to go the extra mile for his clientele, Grayson covers the largest geographical area for Axis which spans from Texas through Alabama.
Mr. Vidos was born and raised in Morgan City, Louisiana and was a 1988 graduate of Morgan City High School and later attended McNeese State University. When Mr. Vidos is away from work, he is an avid outdoorsman who enjoys hunting and fishing.
Mr. Alfred has been an integral part of the rapid expansion of Axis Rental Solutions since his arrival in 2019 by utilizing his extensive list of contacts he has nurtured 15 years of equipment rental experience. His ability to provide second to none service and attention to the needs of his clientele separate him from his competition on a daily basis. Dusty literally brings a “hands-on” approach to his craft as a sales professional as he can regularly be seen assisting clients as well as technicians diagnosing and repairing mechanical issues. His mechanical and product knowledge are a great asset to both Axis and his clients alike. Dusty’s attributes are key to his ability to obtaining and retaining a majority of Axis’ largest clients.
Mr. Alfred hails from Morgan City, Louisiana and is a 2001 graduate of Berwick high school and later attended Louisiana State University - Eunice where he studied Marketing. In his free time, Dusty enjoys many outdoor activities including hunting, fishing and attending sporting events.
Mr. Himel joined Axis in 2019 and has compiled a total of 8 years of rental industry experience. Kyle began his career serving as an inside salesperson before being promoted to Dispatcher where he was responsible for organizing and scheduling equipment for both industrial, construction, and offshore projects. Kyle’s product knowledge and passion to succeed has resulted in a steady rise in his performance and customer satisfaction metrics alike. Kyle eventually found his niche and strength when he was assigned to visit clients on a regular basis and found his calling as an Outside Sales Professional. Kyle has served in this position for the past three years and has brought tremendous success to both Axis and his professional career.
Kyle is a 2000 graduate of H.L. Bourgeois High School which is located in Gray, Louisiana. Upon graduation, Kyle enlisted in the United States Marine Corp. Kyle diligently served his country for 16 years before retiring in 2016 as a Staff Sargeant.
While away from Axis, Kyle enjoys watching LSU and Saints football while entertaining guests at his home in Gibson, Louisiana. Kyle also has a passion for outdoor cooking as he can often be found entertaining others with boiled seafood or his favorite cut of meat on the grill. Kyle equally enjoys fishing as well as many other outdoor activities which are abundant in the Sportsman’s Paradise in which he resides.
Bob joined the Axis Rental Solutions team in May of 2025. He started out in the equipment rental industry in1988 with Buckner Rental Service in Lafayette, La at the age of 19 as a service technician. Bob navigated through the ranks of service technician, delivery driver, and later inside sales. In 1991 Bob made a lateral transfer to Lake Charles in Inside Sales for Buckner. In 1993 Mr. Crooks was promoted to Branch Manager of the Lake Charles branch. In 1997 Buckner sold to Neff Rental and Bob stayed on with Neff as a branch manager until leaving in 2000 to become a managing partner of the Lake Charles Branch of Redfish Rentals Inc. As managing partner of the Lake Charles Branch Bob was involved in operations and sales of the location. In 2016 Bob became the Chief Operating Officer and Vice President of Operations for Redfish Rentals, Inc. In 2019 Bob started a dual role managing strategic accounts and outside sales along with his role of Vice President of Operations until his departure in May of 2025. Bob’s vast experience now spans 37 years in the Rental Industry.
When away from Axis, Bob enjoys being out in the field finding opportunities and being there for customers to solve any equipment needs they may have 24 hrs. a day and 365 days a year.
Brent Goodyear Jr. was born and raised in Abbeville, Louisiana. He possesses a deep understanding of the local landscape, and a strong work ethic rooted in the community. After graduating from Vermillion Catholic in 2005, he gained valuable experience in various sectors of the energy industry.
From 2005 to 2010, Brent diligently worked in different roles across offshore operations, oil and gas land construction projects, and fabrication projects. During this time, he developed lasting relationships and a comprehensive understanding of the industry's intricacies.
Brent's career has evolved to encompass diverse roles, including involvement in the decommissioning industry, specializing in subsea cutting and dredging. He also significantly contributed to I&E midstream construction projects.
For the past decade, Brent has served in a business development role for offshore, midstream, and downstream oil and gas general contractors with a dedicated fabrication division.
Brent currently resides in Lafayette with his wife, Lindsey Rue Goodyear, and their two children. In his time away from work, Brent is an avid outdoorsman and an active member of his local church community.
Randall Johnson Jr. has over 16 years of experience in the rental industry, including 10 years in rental sales and 5 years as a rental coordinator. He began his career at just 19 years old working on the wash rack and quickly advanced through the ranks, gaining hands-on knowledge and a deep understanding of the business at every level.
A 2009 graduate of St. Amant High School, Randall has lived in St. Amant his entire life and is deeply connected to the community. He is passionate about cooking and catering to others, building new friendships, and bringing people together. Outside of work, Randall enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, and being outdoors—whether relaxing, fishing, or hunting.
Randall has been married to his wife, Heather Johnson, for 12 years. They have two children: Randall Johnson III, age 13, and Sydni Johnson, age 11.
Warren has 26 years of rental equipment experience. He was born and raised in Golden Meadow, Louisiana. After graduating from South Lafourche High School, Mr. Michel immediately entered the equipment and oilfield industries. Warren worked in offshore drilling and workover rigs. He began his career as a roustabout and later became a certified crane operator and gained multiple certifications along the way. Warren learned a lot about logistics, safety, and quick thinking to resolve issues, and the severity of getting equipment transported offshore expeditiously. Warren’s followed his dreams and became an inventor and entrepreneur. In 1998, he acquired a utility patent for an alarm system.
In 2000, Warren began working for Neff Rentals, then later Redfish Rentals from 2002 through April of 2025. At Neff and later Redfish, Warren began his rental career in the service department. His responsibilities included servicing and washing equipment. Slowly he worked his way up by performing mechanical repairs to equipment, driving trucks, serving as a shop foreman and later became an assistant manager at Redfish Rentals. His responsibilities included doing inside sales as well as outside sales. In Warren's free time, he enjoys spending time with his wife, 3 children, and grandchildren. He is often found shrimping, fishing and crabbing on his boat and truly cherishes family cookouts.
Ms. Besson joined Axis in 2020 and currently serves as the company’s Accounting Manager. Leslie brings a unique blend of private and public accounting experience which benefits the many complexities of the equipment rental industry. Leslie began her accounting career with the CPA firm of Bergeron and Lanaux. Prior to joining Axis, Leslie served as the controller for WLP Holdings and was responsible for supervising Accounting Managers at multiple subsidiaries of WLP. From an international perspective, Ms. Besson served as the Finance Manager for Oceaneering International for 13 years. In addition to her accounting endeavors, Leslie also served as a certified Microsoft instructor specializing in Microsoft Excel.
Leslie graduated from Hahnville High School in 1982 and later obtained her Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting with summa cum laude honors from Nicholls State University. She has earned multiple certifications throughout her career in her quest to stay abreast of all tax law adjustments and to assist in preparing detailed financial reporting.
When not analyzing financials, Leslie lists traveling, NASCAR and spending time with her grandchildren as her greatest interests.
